End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either as an individual or on behalf of an entity) and Boba Tea Development regarding your use of TipLink software or products, and associated documentation (the "Software"). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS EULA, DO NOT INSTALL, USE OR COPY THE SOFTWARE.
Summary
- You must agree to all of the terms of this EULA to use this Software.
- You must own a genuine license to activate and use this software.
- Your genuine license must be in good standing. Licenses associated with purchases that have been refunded, disputed, or are otherwise invalidated are not valid for use with this Software.
- You may not use a license key that does not belong to you, or that has been obtained through unauthorized means, even in cases where you presently or previously owned a license to the Software.
- If so, you may use the Software for any lawful purpose.
- This Software is provided "as-is" with no warranties, and you agree that Boba Tea Development is not liable for anything you do with it.
- You really ought to just go ahead and read the whole EULA. It's not all that long. You should not only rely on this summary.
The Agreement
By downloading, installing, using, or copying the Software, including any updates, upgrades, or modifications that may be provided by the developer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to all of the terms of this EULA, you may not download, install, use, or copy the Software or any updates.
The License
This EULA grants you, as the purchaser or subscriber through Gumroad.com, Payhip.com, Jinxxy.com, Patreon.com (including Patreon memberships), or any other authorized vendor or subscription platform, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use as many copies of the Software as you wish, provided that your use is in compliance with the terms of this EULA. Your license is granted solely to the purchaser or subscriber and is not transferable, saleable, or giftable, except where explicitly purchased or gifted, with recipient details provided at the time of purchase or subscription. In the case of a gift purchase, the billpayer retains no rights to the Software once the gift is transferred to the recipient.
Your license to use the Software is expressly conditioned upon your acceptance of and adherence to all terms outlined in this EULA. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you through the above-mentioned platforms or any other authorized distribution channels. Boba Tea Development retains all rights to the Software that are not expressly granted to you in this EULA.
License Activation
Your license becomes active once the Software has been installed and the necessary license key (if applicable) has been successfully entered and validated. The activation process may involve communication with Boba Tea Development's servers or those of an authorized third-party vendor, and may require internet access. You may not use the Software until the license has been activated.
Unauthorized Use of License
You expressly agree not to use any license key or activation code that does not belong to you, or that has been obtained through unauthorized means. Use of a license not purchased or subscribed to by you, or not transferred to you legally, is strictly prohibited. Any such unauthorized use may result in immediate termination of your license without refund or compensation.
Restrictions
- You must use the Software in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements in the jurisdiction(s) where the Software is used.
- Sale or Resale Prohibited: You may not sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or exchange the Software for any form of compensation or value, whether directly or indirectly. Any such activity is strictly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of your license without refund or compensation.
- Sharing Credentials Prohibited: You may not share, distribute, or otherwise make available your license key, activation code, session tokens, Patreon account details, authentication tokens, or any other credentials associated with the Software to any third party, whether for free or for compensation. Sharing such credentials is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of your license without refund or compensation.
- Reverse Engineering Prohibited: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or otherwise exploit the Software in any way, except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law. Any attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the Software in such a manner will result in the immediate termination of your license without refund or compensation.
- You may not remove or modify any proprietary notices, attributions, or marks embedded in the Software.
- You may not distribute, share, or publish license keys, whether publicly or privately. Any unauthorized use, redistribution, or sharing of license keys is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate termination of your license, without refund or compensation.
- You may redistribute the Software, provided that:
- You are a verified, genuine purchaser, subscriber (including via Patreon membership), or gift recipient of the Software;
- The redistribution is strictly non-commercial (i.e., you are not receiving any form of compensation, whether direct or indirect);
- The Software is distributed in its original, unmodified form;
- This End User License Agreement (EULA) and Privacy Policy are included in full and unaltered;
- No bundling, repackaging, or combination with other products occurs during redistribution;
- The Software is not published or made publicly available for download or re-distribution beyond a reasonable scope of your personal control (e.g., not uploaded to public forums, file-sharing platforms, or repositories);
- You may not redistribute, share, or include license keys, activation codes, or assigned membership access (such as Patreon credentials) as part of any Software distribution. These credentials are provided solely to activate and validate your personal copy of the Software and may not be distributed, transferred, or shared with others, either directly or indirectly. Any attempt to bypass or circumvent the activation process—including account-sharing—is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in the immediate termination of your license, without refund or compensation.
Redistribution that does not meet all of these conditions is strictly prohibited.
Boba Tea Development reserves the right to revoke redistribution rights at any time, for any reason, including suspected abuse or violation of these terms.
Privacy Notices
This software may communicate with third-party servers solely for purposes such as validating licenses, managing memberships, or processing transactions. These servers are controlled by external platforms and are not operated by the developers of this software.
If you purchase or access this software through any third-party platform, including platforms that manage recurring memberships (such as Patreon), your transaction and usage data may be handled according to that platform's policies.
By using this software, you agree to comply with the privacy policies of any third-party platforms involved in your purchase, access, or ongoing subscription.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of all applicable platforms relevant to your use of this software.
Open-Source Notices
Certain components of the Software may be subject to open-source software licenses ("Open-Source Components"). The Software documentation includes copies of the licenses applicable to the Open-Source Components.
To the extent there is conflict between the license terms covering the Open-Source Components and this EULA, the terms of such licenses will take precedence only with respect to the Open-Source Components. All other terms and conditions of this EULA will remain in full force and effect. To the extent the terms of the licenses applicable to Open-Source Components prohibit any of the restrictions in this Agreement with respect to such Open-Source Component, such restrictions will not apply to such Open-Source Component.
Intellectual Property Notices
The Software, including all worldwide copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, is the exclusive property of the developer. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you under the terms of this EULA. All rights not expressly granted to you in this EULA are reserved by the developer, including, but not limited to, rights to the Software distributed through Gumroad.com, Payhip.com, Jinxxy.com, or any other platform.
Disclaimers and Limitations on Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. The developers of this Software make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The developers do not guarantee that the Software will: meet your specific requirements; be fully compatible with any particular platform; operate without interruption or error; produce accurate or reliable results; or have any defects corrected.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT THE DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. The developers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Software (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. They will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Software.
Supported Platforms and Third-Party Services
The Software is designed to operate on certain marketed platforms and integrate with third-party services. Boba Tea Development makes no guarantees regarding the continued functionality, availability, or support of these platforms or services.
The marketed platforms and third-party services may change, become unavailable, or experience disruptions, which could affect the Software's performance.
Boba Tea Development reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue support for any marketed platform or third-party service at its discretion, with or without notice.
Users understand and agree that the Software may not function as expected if any supported platform or third-party service is altered, discontinued, or becomes unavailable, and Boba Tea Development is not liable for any issues arising from such changes.
Privacy Policy for TipLink Products

Software purchased or accessed is developed by Boba Tea Development, a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
1. Information We Collect
When TipLink products connect to our licensing or activation servers, we may collect:
- A pseudonymous hardware identifier generated locally from your device to help prevent duplicate or fraudulent activations
- A unique license key, serial number, or activation code used to verify your entitlement to the Software
- Your OAuth-linked account ID or token (e.g., from Patreon) used to validate ongoing membership access, without storing your full login credentials
- The platform through which you obtained access to the Software (e.g., Gumroad, Payhip, Jinxxy, Patreon)
- Your IP address at the time of activation or major usage events (used for fraud prevention and security auditing)
- The product name and current version in use
- Activation and usage event logs (e.g., activation attempts, validation successes or failures, last check-in timestamp)
We also provide community and support services through a private Discord server. This includes:
- Public channels for general discussion and announcements, visible to all members.
- Community help channels where users can request help or share advice — messages here are public and viewable by all server members.
- Private support tickets which are only visible to you and authorized support staff.
When you choose to engage in support discussions, you may voluntarily share personal information. We advise users not to share sensitive or private information in public channels.
2. Third-Party Services
TipLink products allow you to connect with various third-party services, such as platforms for streaming, content creation, or monetization. These connections are initiated and configured by you, and may require you to enter account credentials, access tokens, or other forms of authorization.
When using TipLink products or visiting our website, third-party services may collect certain information from your device for performance or integration purposes. This may include:
- Your IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device type
- Technical requests to third-party services (e.g., Google Fonts), which may result in your data (such as IP address) being sent to those providers
- Usernames or display names (if interacting with external services)
- Donation or transaction details (when connected to monetization platforms)
- Chat messages, comments, or other interaction events
For example, we use Google Fonts (provided by Google LLC) to display text consistently across browsers and devices. When fonts are loaded from Google's servers, your IP address and browser details may be transmitted to Google. This is done under our legitimate interest to ensure the proper presentation of our software and websites. No cookies are used in this process.
All such data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored by our servers. You are solely responsible for how this data is handled, stored, or displayed within your own environment.
By connecting a third-party service, you agree to comply with that service's terms and privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the relevant documentation for any platform you choose to integrate with TipLink. Please note that some third-party services (such as Google Fonts) may be used by TipLink automatically and may not be explicitly disclosed during installation. In such cases, certain technical data—such as your IP address or device information—may be transmitted to the third-party provider as part of normal operation.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, on our store and landing pages to help us understand how visitors interact with our websites. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other usage data.
This information is used to improve our websites, monitor performance, and enhance user experience. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device to collect this information. We only enable Google Analytics tracking after obtaining your consent where required.
We have enabled IP anonymization in Google Analytics to help protect your privacy. Your IP address is truncated before being sent to Google, reducing the identifiability of your data.
By using our websites, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. You can choose to opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We process your data under the following UK GDPR legal grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to provide and maintain your software license and essential service communications.
- Legitimate interests: to prevent license abuse, improve product security, and provide user support.

5. Data Sharing and Subprocessors
We do not sell or trade your personal data. License information may be verified with the vendor you purchased it from. We use secure, cloud-based providers who may process data outside the UK.
6. International Data Transfers
Some data may be processed or stored by service providers located outside the United Kingdom. While we do not currently have formal international data transfer agreements in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or IDTAs), we take reasonable steps to work with providers who follow industry-standard security practices and privacy protections.
By using TipLink products, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside the UK, which may not offer the same level of data protection as UK law.
We continue to review our arrangements and aim to implement appropriate safeguards where required under UK GDPR.
7. Data Retention
We retain licensing and activation data for as long as it is necessary to verify license validity, provide support, and detect misuse. This means that data may be retained beyond 2 years if your license remains active or if required to fulfil our contractual obligations.
If your license is terminated, expired, or revoked, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required to retain it longer (e.g., for audit or fraud prevention purposes).
8. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to help protect your data, including:
- Encrypted communication using SSL/TLS
- Pseudonymization of hardware identifiers where possible
- Strict access controls to limit who can access licensing systems
While we do not currently perform formal audits, we regularly review our infrastructure and codebase to identify and address potential security issues.
9. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access any personal data we hold about you
- Request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected
- Request the erasure of your data, where applicable (also known as the "right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
- Receive a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability)

Please note that some data collected via third-party services (e.g., Google Fonts) may be subject to that provider's own data policies. In such cases, we recommend reviewing the relevant provider's privacy policy for exercising your rights directly with them.

All purchases are considered final. Refunds are generally not provided.
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

Upon purchase, you'll receive a unique license key. This key is:

- Subject to revocation if misused or abused, including violations of our terms.
For gifted licenses:
The license key should only be used by the individual it was gifted to. Misuse, including reselling or redistribution, will result in revocation.
4. License Revocation Policy
We reserve the right to revoke your license and access if any of the following occur:
- Filing a chargeback.
- Inappropriate behavior in our community.
- Breach of these terms.
- Unauthorized sharing of the license key or product files.
- Reverse engineering without explicit, written consent from the developer.
This applies equally to both direct and gifted purchases.
